Barclays Bank Uganda has since held 2 press conferences addressing the issue. Both the Bank Managing director and CEO Barclays Africa Group issued statements addressing many people’s fears. Bank of Uganda’s Justine Bagyenda in a statement further emphasised that Barclays Bank Uganda is going to be affected.
